There is a fun Kid’s Criterium and two races for club riders.

Afterwards, line Lambton Quay and soak up the festive atmosphere as New Zealand’s elite road cyclists race the fifth and final stage of the UCI 2.2 New Zealand Cycle Classic. This will be a thrilling Criterium held on the same city streets followed by the presentation of the coveted Yellow Jersey to the Tour winner and overall classification jerseys from the previous four days of racing in the Wairarapa.

This is the third time in eleven years that the New Zealand Cycle Classic has been held in Wellington, so come along and enjoy a wheely fun day out along the City’s Golden Mile. It is also the only Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) sanctioned multi-day race to be held in Oceania in January 2024.
